Released to coincide with the band's 40th anniversary, Volume 1 in Hollywood Records' ambitious, limited-edition re-release campaign box set series covers material recorded between 1973 and 1986. The five-disc collection includes the complete 2011 Bob Ludwig remastered versions of Queen (1973), Queen II (1974), Sheer Haeart Attack (1974), A Night at the Opera (1975), and A Day at the Races (1973), each of which is housed with an accompanying EP of rarities. ~ James Christopher Monger
