Queen Sheba's Ring
All events take place in Africa, in the imaginary kingdom, or perhaps one should say queendom of Mur, ruled by Maqueda, a descendant King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. This time Rider tells about two more lost tribes of Africa. Due to the contradictions between them, one of them faces death. The ring of Queen Sheba given to Dr. Richard Adams is a sign of well-deserved reward for the salvation of the people and the destruction of the main enemy.

About the Author

About The Author

Sir Henry Rider Haggard (1856-1925) was an English author of adventure novels set in exotic locales, predominantly Africa. King Solomon’s Mines, one of his best-known books, details the life of the explorer Allan Quartermain. She: A History of Adventure followed, introducing the character Ayesha. While much of Haggard’s reputation stems from those two books and their subsequent series, he also wrote nonfiction and short stories.
