Overview

Quiet Prayers is Bryan Duncan's installment in the My Utmost for His Highest series and it ranks as one of the best, not only in the series but also in his catalog. Most of the album consists of covers of contemporary Christian songs, but there are also a couple of originals, like "When I Turn to You," thrown in for good measure. No matter who wrote the song, Duncan delivers it convincingly and his smooth, country-tinged mainstream pop style is appealingly melodic on every cut on the record. ~ Rodney Batdorf
