About the Author

The only child of a single father, Jessica Madden is a storyteller, artist, small business owner, and animal lover from Pflugerville, Texas.

In 2021 she decided to start a Children's Book Company after the COVID lockdowns put an end to the Annual AFE Benefit held at her neighborhood pub. Combining all her talents, the goal is to create a book drive capable of continuing the goodwill that had become a staple in her hometown.

With a ‘Family First’ approach to everything, she writes in her grandmother's maiden name, Virginia Byrd, and donates portions of the proceeds from each book to the AFE Foundation in memory of her friend’s sister, Micki, and her unborn son; Mason. Both were tragically lost to AFE (Amniotic Fluid Embolism) in 2012.

Her stories are always grounded in traditional values, illustrated with coloring pages, and include a set of learning activities that help parents teach their kids the fundamentals (reading, writing, and arithmetic) while exercising hand-eye coordination and expanding their imagination.
