Raping Aphrodite
What if everything you know, or think you know, about yourself is wrong? Tash Colgate is about to find out, in Raping Aphrodite, a new work of fiction by first-time author Loukia Borrell. Tash is living the life she always hoped for: a successful marriage to a man she loves and a great career. But, when Tash agrees to exhibit Cypriot items in her art gallery, she begins to unravel a secret no one believed would see the light of day. Her husband, Christian, figures it out, but will he join her parents in keeping Tash from the truth? Partially set against the backdrop of the 1974 invasion of Cyprus by Turkey, Raping Aphrodite is the story of a Mediterranean island cut in half, of lives lost and truth found.
