About the Author

John P. Wiedemer received his degree from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Throuhgout his long and prestigious real estate career, John gained extensive experience in sales, owned businesses, brokered mortgage loans, sold real estate, taught real estate classes and authored numerous books.

Joseph E. Goeters is a CREI, REEA member, professor at Houston Community College, and author of real estate textbooks published by Cengage Learning. Joe holds a Real Estate Broker's License, a BA from the University of Toronto, and MBA from the University of Houston. He has over 22 years teaching experience built on more than three decades of industry experience.

J. Edward Graham, PhD is an Associate Professor of Finance in the Department of Economics and Finance at UNC Wilmington. He has been at UNCW since 1998, having earlier received his doctorate in finance at the University of South Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce at Washington and Lee University in 1978 and his MBA at the University of North Florida in 1979. He began investing in residential, commercial and industrial property in the Jacksonville, Florida area in 1981 and remains active there as an investor, with his home in North Carolina. His academic interests include real estate investment, corporate finance and the stock market. He has published in a number of finance, economics and real estate journals.
