Reality Ali
Ali Caldwell has had her privacy guarded for her whole life. Her father insists this keeps her safe, but she would rather be mentioned when her movie-star mother does interviews. She's tired of no one believing that her mother is the mother of those adorable triplets on the reality show Triple Trouble.

Ali decides to do something about it. She and her friends decide to create their own fame by posting videos on YouTube, and fame comes much quicker than Ali ever guessed it would. Soon her mother is insisting that she be a part of the reality show and cameras come to film her at school.

It's what she dreamed of. Or so she thought. Soon she's in the middle of a media firestorm. The paparazzi have tracked her down, interview requests are coming from all over, and the hottest star on TV asks her to the school dance.

It starts to get scary when a stranger begins following her around and sending flowers. Her father thinks he's a stalker, and wants to get Ali away from the whole situation. Her mother seems to think he makes for good publicity.

And Ali just isn't sure what is real anymore.

About the Author

Christine Marciniak’s first career goal was to be Batgirl, but somehow that didn’t pan out. When she was six she thought being a nurse would be good, until she found out that blood would almost definitely be involved. So she decided instead to be a famous actress. In high school she decided to be practical and become a lawyer. Then in college, when it came time to think about law school, she realized that what she really wanted to do was write fiction. All the time.

Since there are not a lot of job openings for novelists, she became an editor for a travel publication after graduating college. Although this sounds exotic, it really wasn’t. Most of the traveling involved driving up and down the NJ Turnpike.

Now she is living her dream: writing fiction, all the time. Except of course when driving her two children to their various after school activities, and you know, making meals for them and other necessary things.
Christine would like to say she’s writing her books in some remote, peaceful location. She’s not. She lives in New Jersey, close to many highways and malls, with her husband and two children (no pets, we’re allergic).
