Press the Power Off Button and Reinvent Yourself. You may see this has applying to a smart phone or computer. You are correct in your assessment. Rebooting for you is to press the life experience "restart button" and choosing to let go of all stored memory that is causing your brain to short circuit, knowing that when you take this time to re calibrate; your life starts to take on an upgrade. During this upgrade, you can choose to reactivate your 8-Superhuman Powers.
When you make the decision to lay down your old self and recreate who you are, things start to move toward an improved life. Rebooting replaces layers of Band-Aids and duct tape.
I sustained tragic losses most of my life, including a traumatic brain injury in 2017, losing my youngest sister to vehicular manslaughter by her husband in 2016, and in 2018 my nephew (her son) burned down my dad's house, then a few months later, killed someone. Gun violence, drug abuse, jail time, family arguments, addictions and layers of abuse in every form imaginable filled my memory.
It was the traumatic brain injury that prompted me to write this book about rebooting. You will see how my brain was so overloaded with too much information and the need to not disappoint others, that I was not paying attention one day while taking a #selfcaresunday day to myself. You can read about the day a little later on in this book and you will clearly see the reason why it is so important that we all reset our brains, daily.
As I was laying in my sick bed after the brain injury, I knew I had to recreate who I was. I had to cross the bridge from my disjointed life, to a life that was more in alignment with what I needed, and one I could control. I had to make sacrifices including losing touch with my grandchildren. Losing my contact with them, ripped my heart open and from that space I chose to change, to become a unicorn, to live my life for them through my inner child.
