Overview

Scot gives words to his journey of loss and regaining the self in the book titled, "The Edge." The title denotes the importance of regaining your lost edge. The edge you had in your life where both your body, soul and mind were in harmony.
In this book, Scot starts to fathom his loss of a job and that's when it strikes him. The loss he had did not change the outlook he had on life. What's the use of that loss if it can't change your perception, your ideology? What is loss if it cannot connect you to the greater purpose?
For Scot, that is a loss, wasted.
Own the loss, learn from it. And make sure you regain your lost edge in your journey of coming back to your Self.
The journey towards self is triggered when you come face to face with something that makes you feel lost. Who are you without a job? Without money? Without all things material? These are the essential questions that need to be asked for you to realize your true self and rediscover your spiritual sharpness.
