I remember when I fell behind on filing my taxes; well something inspired me to visit one of the locations of the Internal Revenue Service. Man was I horrified.
As I was driving, I began talking to myself stating, “Now don’t get in there running your mouth”. I continued, “You know you talk too much; just get the transcripts and come out”. Well I did just that.

Whenever they asked me any questions; I kept it real short – yes, no. After that experience, I’m so happy I went in person. It wasn’t what I’d imagine. They were very helpful and kind.

Once I arrived home, I made a comment to myself, “I couldn’t believe you did that”.

To be honest with you guy’s I didn’t want the IRS to know my address, phone number, or bank account – nothing. I just wanted to hide; until I can make situation right.

This is why I relate to you guys so much; those who haven’t filed taxes in years; the ones who believe you might owe, but not sure, what to do, or perhaps you have a shoe box full of receipts, and not sure where to begin. Unfortunately, I was all of that.

At that point I came to an epiphany. Release the Fear and just handle –up-on -your –Business.
