About the Author

Glaucia Afonso has been married to Silas for twenty-five years. They are the parents of two children.
She combines motherhood with her profession as a cosmetologist.
In 2016, she graduated in Law from PUC-MG, with a research focus on Arbitration and Mediation.
She also has a degree in Theology from the International Institute of Theology and Leadership.
She is a chaplain from AMINS-USA and a Christian Counselor from Boston Theological School.
She was women's leader for four years at Hope Church Cape Cod (IEQ Hyannis), from 2016 to 2020.
During her ministry, in 2018, she published two books: Identity through the Lens of the Author of Life
and Their Identity. As a Cosmetologist, and while leading the women's department at Hope Church
Cape Cod, she felt a strong need to seek out resources for intentional and dynamic care for the women
in her life. As a result she trained as a Christian Counselor and Chaplain. During the 2020 lockdown,
she heard a strong call from the Lord to compose and record her songs. As interpreter of her compositions,
she has brought a message of peace and reconciliation with God to the world. Her songs are available in
streams on digital platforms. She is currently training as a couple and family therapist with the ITFMG.
