Overview

The Veil is falling. The city lies silent, encased in utter darkness. We're running blind. We have nowhere to go. It's not safe anywhere. We can't trust anyone but ourselves. So, when help comes from an unpredictable source, we're forced to make a risky decision to save ourselves and the people we love. And then the unexpected happens, shattering our plans. A new enemy emerges, forged from the Monarch's new serum; Genesis. He'll hunt us to his last breath. While pieces of the sky fall around us, we run for our lives. Fear has its grip on us. My heart aches for those we have lost. But we have to keep going. We can't stop--not even if we're wounded or dying-- or they'll catch us. How long can we survive like this? I don't know. Helen McMahon is a young woman, born and raised in Northern California. She actively serves her community through her church, Calvary Chapel. Homeschooled much of her life, she discovered a passion for writing before age 13. From this discovery, she penned her first novel, Rewritten, when she was 14 as a school project. Along with this fervor for writing, she is an accomplished violinist, pianist, and singer.
