About the Author

Dr. A. Tejomurty (b. 1941) had his post- graduation in Economics. He served in the Madhya Pradesh Government Collegiate Education Department as a lecturer in Economics for about two and-a-half years. He did his Ph.D. in Economics from Vikram University. Turning to Library and Information Science, he did his B.Lib.Sc. from Sagar University, and M.Lib. Inf. Sc. from Vikram University. He did his Ph.D. in Library Science and Documentation from the University of Rajasthan. He is presently Reader and Head in the School of Studies in Library and Information Science, Vikram University, Ujjain. His teaching tenure bears testimony to his continuous professional interest and writings. He has to his credit ten books, forty-eight papers, and book reviews. He is an active participant in professional seminars. His teaching and writing activities stand prominently on an academic career of first divisions and merit positions. Dr. A. Tejomurty is a life member of ILA and IATLIS. Presently he is the Secretary of IATLIS.
