Overview

Once neglected by our ancestors, mental health plays a pivotal part in everyone’s modern-day life. We all strive to be happy and successful in our personal lives. However, what do we do when our fluttering negative thoughts become a constant stream of darkness? We often neglect these thoughts as we try to push away their morbid realities; we have no rulebook on dealing with these emotions.

Through these poems, Eniola guides us through the complex emotions that can be generated due to the difficulties life can throw at us. She wastes no words to convey the sheer depth of these emotions we may experience through these trying times. Although they can be crippling, Eniola shows us that regardless of the severity of our problems, we can rise out of these depths as there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
