About the Author
Zura Johnson, is thrilled to bring these ridiculous stories to life. She fell in love with Rootabaga Stories at a young age. Her mother, an elementary school teacher and reading specialist for thirty years, used to read these stories to Zura and her brothers. The absurdity and silliness, and the acrobatic language deeply appealed to her. Zura is a classically trained stage actor. She has performed in stages from her childhood home in California to the East coast, and the way to Singapore. She has now worked in theater and as a voice actor for more than twenty years. She holds an MFA from the Old Globe Theatre and the University of San Diego.
