About the Author

Mary Kephart works by day as a Certified Court Reporter by night as an Ice Cream Extraordinaire and owner of the Ice Cream Palace in Long Beach. Now with her love of poetry has ventured into writing a series of children's books that feature Rosey Radish and soon to come, her friends. Children's rhythming books with a bit of history that are co-authored with her daughter Skylar. Ironically inspiration for this venture began with a paper Skylar did for college as a student at USM on the subject of Long Beach, MS.
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana Mary now lives in Long Beach MS with her family.
