Overview

Sam the Ant, Sandy the Ant, and Drag the Dragonfly find themselves in the drainage pipes under San Francisco. The Ants discover an upper passage and end up in a place of all white, when all of sudden tragedy sets in! Meanwhile, Drag searches the tunnels and eventually is confronted with a dangerous decision. A massive wall of water approaches, and Drag can see Sam and Sandy inside a plastic globe. Confused and scared, Drag decides to brave the wave and attempt to save his friends. Each book comes with a unique parent guide and learning guide, which are scaffolded for beginning to intermediate to advanced parenting, just as the books are scaffoled with regards to reading complexity. These books address the important messages of: embracing multiple perspectives, seeing adversity as an ally, and diversity as strength.

About the Author

Enrique C. Feldman is the Founder and Director of Education for the Global Learning Foundation. He is also a 2-Time Grammy Nominated Artist and Composer. Enrique is the creator of iBG®, co-creator of Sam the Ant®, and is an international public speaker who delivers multiple messages, including: how to reimagine, how to create a Super-Brain, and how to inspire others to be inspired.
Sam Sierra-Feldman is a performing artist, conductor, educator and author. Sam is the music teacher at the Tucson Hebrew Academy, the Co-Founder and Assistant Conductor of the Helios Choral Ensemble, a member of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Chorus, a Staff Singer for the St. Philips in the Hills Church Choir, and an active composer and author.
Abe is the illustrator for the Sam the Ant series and brings a playful and whimsical style which keeps the books both authentic and engaging for young readers.
