A lifelong writer by nature, Joslyn Hamilton parlayed her passion for words into a freelance copywriting business, Outside Eye Consulting, and has also written for various publications including NYTimes.com, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Common Ground, and Elephant Journal. She has edited and ghostwritten books on a variety of themes such as cooking, poetry, personal finance, and yoga. She is the co-founder and co-managing editor of the irreverent website RecoveringYogi.com as well as a frequent contributor to the site. Joslyn lives, writes, and hikes through the merciless Bay Area fog from her home in Marin County, just north of the always breathtaking Golden Gate Bridge. Her unflagging reverence for the many sights and landscapes of San Francisco and the surrounding countryside stem from her chilly upbringing in cold, blustery New England.
PHOTOGRAPHER: Bob Morris is a San Francisco Bay Area based photographer specializing in people, architecture, interiors, and stock. With over 25 years' experience, he began his career as a staff photographer for theSouthern Pacific Railroad based in San Francisco. With that company's vast land holdings in the western states, assignments were varied and challenging. Included were aerials, logging operations, coal mines, industrial parks, executive portraits, and, of course, trains for the company's public relations, annual reports, advertising, and brochures. Bob now shoots assignments for various clients around the U.S. and adds to his stock library as time allows.
