About the Author

I was born in a small New Jersey town. I grew up in a large family of creative people. My mother thought I was a wonderful child because I would look at picture books quietly in the living room for hours. I was 'reading' even before I could read, memorizing stories I loved.

I've always wanted to tell stories. While my brothers were learning to play Chess (which I also learned well) I would use the taken pieces to tell epic tales on the sidelines. I wanted to be a writer who illustrated her own books even when I was in kindergarten. I've written poems, plays, songs (words and music) and told all manner of stories to my kids.

With my three children old enough to pursue their own dreams, I'm diving deeper into 'serious' writing again. I've got my directions for the journey. Travel with me...
