About the Author

Nathaniel (Nate) Greene was born, raised and still resides in Asheville, North Carolina. He earned a bachelor’s degree in forestry (1981) and has spent the majority of his six decades plus of life living, playing and working in the forests and mountains of Western North Carolina. His three loves and forestry vocation have had a profound influence on his poetry avocation. The poems contained herein span over four decades and encompass joy, beauty, sadness, and all in between.
