Save the Missing Penny
This simple, yet powerful little book will teach your children the secret to self-independence, restraint and making lemons out of lemonades!

The modern world is not a world that encourages positive traits and virtues in people, especially people as impressionable as young children.

With the widespread proliferation of high-end technology such as smartphones and high-speed internet, most people, especially children, have become used to getting everything they want "right now" and do not have the capacity for self-discipline and restraint, which are some of the core virtues of children who later go on to become wildly successful people. Famous scientific studies have proven this to be a fact.

In this little book, told in the form of an engaging story, you and your kids are going to look at the world through the eyes of a young child who had no money to buy the things he wanted but discovered a great secret that helped him fill his ducky bank to bursting with pennies which he could use to buy whatever he wanted. But that's not all the secret had to teach.

It also taught the power of delayed gratification, among other hidden lessons you're going to discover in this book.

Filled with attractive illustrations and powerful storytelling, Save The Missing Penny is a book that belongs on every family's bookshelf and will teach your kids the importance of patience, self-discipline, self-reliance and the ability to think for themselves.

Instill a love of reading and a keen sense of curiosity about the world while setting up a fun family reading tradition. You can read these to your children at any time of the day, from the wee hours of the morning before school and before tucking them away for the night!

About the Author

C. PIERRE-RUSSELL was born and raised in sunny Miami, FL, it was natural for Cheurlie Pierre-Russell to join the United States Navy. She served for several years with her high water mark coming during Operation Uphold Democracy on the island nation of Haiti, where she worked as a translator. Leaving the Navy was difficult but it was time to start a family and tackle a new career.

C. Pierre-Russell graduated from Georgia State University, with her Bachelor in Arts degree in Sociology. She also earned her Master of Science Degree in Psychology from Walden University. Her desire to strive in education led her to study the development and perception of children’s lives through the influence of social context. In addition, she has studied children intellectual development, which influenced her to write children books, to help them understand their cognitive way of life. A strong role model for women and children, C. Pierre-Russell is a wife and has three children of her own.

Now, she writes books, which, considering where you’re reading this, makes perfect sense. She writes fiction and non-fiction books for children that cover a wide range of subjects. C. Pierre-Russell enjoys teaching children because she feels that they are our future leaders and deserve only the best. If the time ever permits, you might find her on the road taking the family on a much-deserved vacation.
