This first album from the
New Zealand rock group is a warped
progressive rock outing that displays the heavier side of the group that later became a mainstream success with the hits
"April Sun in Cuba" and
"Are You Old Enough" by which they would be best remembered. Their second album is a decadent, self-indulgent
prog outing that remains an incredibly obscure collector's item -- fetching three-figures in LP auctions. A couple of bootleg versions appeared in the late '90s in Europe, making it a little more accessible to obtain. The album has some heavy moments though overall it is a fairly average
progressive rock album. ~ Skip Jansen
