Overview

Every school year, I start out by telling my new students that I am their "SCHOOL MOM." We are like a family in our classroom, always working to build each other up like a team would. This is a children's book about how their school teacher is like another mom for them while they are at school and away from their own parents. I hope it can help kids transition into new school years knowing they have a teacher that loves them like a mom would. When the teacher LOVES her students first, everything else comes easily. A mom loves her children unconditionally and family is FOREVER. My wish is that through my story, I will always be a part of their lives and their best memories. Children are THE MOST precious gifts on Earth. They become what WE tell them they are. I don't take my job lightly. This book reminds us of how important it is for the students to see how parents and teachers are a team that's always cheering them on, supporting them no matter what. Without the student's trust in their teachers, they cannot fully thrive in school to their fullest potential. Children do not learn until they let their guard down and allow themselves to be respected and loved as an individual. This is always one of the top priorities of any teacher- especially in the primary years of education. Teaching is a predetermined job that was created for me and I for it, as it is many teachers. I wouldn't trade it for the world. If you have the teacher gene... you know what I'm talking about.
