About the Author

Obadele Thompson is an Olympic medalist, multiple NCAA champion, author, speaker, and attorney.

Unrecruited in high school, Obadele contacted The University of Texas-El Paso (UTEP), hoping for an athletic scholarship. He succeeded and went on to have a record-setting collegiate career.

After graduating summa cum laude in Economics and Marketing, he competed globally as a professional athlete for a decade, winning a medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
