After four and one-half years of work and effort, Tratar was eager to promote her book and emphatically stated that "Life" was the one and only book she would ever write! Wrong. A higher purpose to the unconscionable terrorist attacks of September 11? Is that just plain malarkey, the mind searching for answers to the incom-prehensible? Were these horrific events, events that changed life as we knew it, simply a random act of violence, or could there be a deeper meaning underlying them? As one woman put it, "If September 11 did not have a higher purpose, what's the point?"
Although nothing we do or say will bring back those who lost their lives on that fateful day, perhaps our pain would be eased if we found that a higher purpose was underlying these tragedies; a purpose that transcended blame and victimhood; ideally, a purpose that ushered in something of importance for humankind. But simply pondering that notion opens a big can of worms, does it not? For if there is a higher purpose to what occurred on September 11, that implies there must be a higher purpose for everything that occurs, right?
Allow me to present a case for the Higher Purpose of September 11, which at the same time, will shed light on the higher purpose for everything that occurs in life. My ‘evidence' is gleaned from a number of diverse sources, each contributing a piece to the ‘puzzle of life' that must now be connected if we are to ever understand why and how tragic events occur.
My sources include a number of intriguing ancient prophecies. These documents indicate that the time we are now living was to be the most pivotal era in the history of humanity. From approximately 1989–2012 humankind would undergo a radical shift in consciousness, an unprecedented shift never before experienced in our world. Mysteries would be revealed that conveyed how life operates at the most fundamental level, allowing us to live in a way never before imagined. Answers to our innermost prayers for a ‘magic pill,' a panacea that would enable us to heal the ills of humankind would finally be known. Sound incredible? Exciting?
But what if that information threatened what we now believe? What if that ‘magic pill' wasn't a pill at all? What if some of our fundamental assumptions about life were actually wrong? So wrong, they have led us down a path fraught with illness, divorce, racism, poverty, heartache, crime, and all the other afflictions that have long plagued humankind. Next item to consider: How would this new information be imparted? Was someone appointed to impart it? Moreover, if someone actually purported to be aware of this new, more expansive version of ‘truth,' would we take them seriously? Probably not.
So, what would it take to awaken humanity to new evolutionary knowledge? What would it take to capture the attention of the entire world to the degree that a radical shift in consciousness could occur?
An event of magnitude. An event so riveting that each of us would be shaken to our core and kicked out of our comfort zones.
I believe the September 11 attacks served as that event. A big-time ‘wake-up call' was delivered to humanity on that fateful day; a 9-1-1 emergency call sent, intended to trigger the shift in consciousness the Ancients spoke of.
Why did we need to wake up? Well, that is exactly what this book is about for there are many reasons. So, now that our attention has been captured, now that we've been thrust from our comfort zones and find ourselves shivering in the cold, are we willing to look deeper and uncover the reasons?
