About the Author

Cinnamon Miles is the cofounder of Liberty Jane Clothing, founded in 2008, and she is an official brand ambassador for Bernina USA, a premiere sewing machine company. Her sewing/design work started when she was just eight years old, as she learned sewing from her mom, who worked for a fashion designer in Los Angeles. Miles works with over 1,000 seamstresses through the Liberty Jane Partners program and The Cutting Room, helping with their sewing/crafting-related businesses. She is passionate about photography, design, and sewing and is excited to use those skills together for Idiot's Guides: Sewing. She lives in Lake Tapps, Washington.
