About the Author

Most known for his works of Historical Mystery Fiction, Leadley interweaves intricate mysteries into the context of true historical settings and events. The Saratoga Deception is a mystery set during the American Revolution while The Veil of Maples and Pines takes place in the antebellum South. Steve also has written a number of Sherlock Holmes pastiches such as Sherlock Holmes and the Circle of Blood and Death By Misadventure, a Sherlock Holmes novella. He has also published three books set in Cape May, which is considered "the nation's oldest seaside resort."

Steve Leadley is a teacher of American History in Cape May, NJ. He has both Bachelors and Masters degrees in History.
