My life is a routine. I wake up at exactly 6 in the morning and prepare for school. I try my best to live up to my parents’ expectations by studying really hard to stay on top of things in my class. My mom has this vision of me getting into law school when I go to college and making her dream a reality had always been my topmost priority. These past few months though, I’ve met this girl. She was different from all the other girls I’ve ever known about. She was crazy special, a girl you only meet in your dreams, someone who can never exist. Love is a complicated thing that can never be explained precisely. Once you get bitten by this love bug, you’d only think of her. You’d only think of ways on how to be with her and how you can be able to spend more time with her, as much as you could.
It was an ordinary day, the day I met her, no, as a matter of fact it wasn’t. It was the day that changed my whole perspective; it was the day that changed my life 180°. I was waiting at a bus stop to get a ride to school. It was 6:30 in the morning and my class was not going to start in about 30 minutes. I always make it a point not to be late, just so I could be able to avoid that cramming feeling you get when you rush into the school hallways and rummage through people to get into your class, praying hard that your teacher isn’t there yet. I noticed this girl who was quite hesitant if she was supposed to get on the bus and so she asked me, is this going to West Fields High school?
