“Shoot The Works” is a story of murder and love set in the sin city of Las Vegas during the 1990s. The story begins at one of the biggest hotels in the city, The Universe, where a bizarre singer named “Mother” is performing. A stalker tries to assassinate her during the performance. Also involved in the ongoing mystery is the hotel’s Publicity Director, Alex Beck, and an attractive female TV journalist, Laura Lind. Without actually intending to, Alex and Laura fall into what turns out to be a dramatic and dangerous love affair.
