Overview

Cynthia Gadson was born in Progress Village, (Tampa, FL). Ms. Gadson is one of ten children by parents Mrs. J. M. Gadson and Mr. E. J. Gadson. Ms. Gadson has two sons, Marcus and Maurice Lindsey and two grandchildren, Sadari and Quinten Lindsey. The youngest son, Maurice is the Illustrator of all three of her books - Mom Had a Problem, Dad Had Issues, and Show Me, Teach Me, Guide Me.

Ms. Gadson is a Missionary and formerly a member of First Baptist Church of Progress Village - Pastor - The late Roosevelt Robinson, Emmanuel Cathedral C.O.G.I.C. - Pastor - J. H. Smalley, Brown Memorial
C.O.G.I.C. - Pastor - Bishop Matthew Williams, and currently a member of Triumph and Deliverance C.O.G.I.C. - Pastor Elvis J. Piggott, where she learns spiritual teaching. Ms. Gadson also evangelizes with the Spirit of Truth and Faith Ministries - Pastor Raphael Anderson, and Tabernacle Ruach Ha Kodesh Christian Ministries -Prophet Bernard Evans of Atlanta Georgia. She has been in ministry since 1990. Ms. Gadson believes that Show Me, Teach Me, Guide Me was inspired by God to be written to get a message across that children are shown, taught, and guided by those they come in contact with, therefore, together, we can change our world by changing what is instilled in our youth.
