About the Author

Arthur De Anda, born in Baldwin Park, California, is a self-taught writer who has previously written the novel, ‘Down in the Valley,’ based on a memorable incident of the author's life. Arthur De Anda, a father as well as a grandfather, grew up in a small San Gabriel Valley neighborhood and worked for 32 years as a carpenter in Southern California. He is now retired and wants to share some of his stories with the world and talk about many bittersweet lessons he has learned through the years.
