John Hill Aughey, 1828-1911.

Evelyn Baring, 1st Earl of Cromer (1841 - 1917), was a British statesman, diplomat and colonial administrator.

Henry Walton Bibb (May 10, 1815 in Cantalonia, Kentucky - 1854) was an American author and abolitionist who was born a slave. After escaping from slavery to Canada, he founded an abolitionist newspaper, The Voice of the Fugitive. He returned to the US and lectured against slavery.

William Warde Fowler (1847 - 1921) was an English historian and ornithologist, and tutor at Lincoln College, Oxford. He was best known for his works on ancient Roman religion.
