Overview

Knitting Instruction Booklet: A perfect accessory for glamorous evening wear or the mother-of-the-bride when knit in luxury fiber, this shrug can also be knit in cotton for summer evenings or cashmere, alpaca, or wool for winter warmth. This shrug/arm-warmer is knit straight across from wrist opening to wrist opening. The piece is folded in half length-wise and seams enclose the arms but leave an opening for the front. Stitches are then picked up around the two ends to add a cuff and around the opening to add a lacy finish. This garment was knit from a luxurious metallic and cotton/rayon yarn but it could be as easily knit in any sport-weight yarn. Beads are added for extra sparkle.

Instructions for Princess or Queen size with additional information on adjusting the size for your needs. Includes a discussion on working with metallic fibers and adding beads while knitting.
