Overview

Hello again children. If you dont mind I would like to start this writing with a question. How do you think it would be to be several hundred years old and having all of these wonderful memories about all of these things you have seen and not being able to share them with anyone? Quite a question is it not? You see? That is exactly the position I found myself in before starting these transcriptions with this gentleman who is now writing for me. Betty and I are so very happy to finally be able to share all of these wonderful things with you. Christmas after all is all about the Christ Child and love and sharing with others, and after all these years that I have been allowed to do this work, to be able to bring them to you is a blessing indeed. It does make me very happy.
My dear parents, oh how I remember you as children. You know, I have been at this long enough that I remember your families as children almost from their beginning and how very beautiful they were! So you see, even when I see you shopping or anywhere for that matter you are still those wonderful children to me and I am glad for it to be so. I have had the pleasure of watching you grow into fine men and women carrying on the work of raising your families and managing your countries, and with but a few exceptions what a fine job you have done. So as you read this book either to your children or yourselves I would like for you to remember how it was when you thought you had a glimpse of this red suit passing by your bedroom window in the wee hours of the morning. It was I, and you were right. And, it was so much fun was it not?
So, let us begin this writing. We will begin looking into my journals numbered twenty five and twenty six for now and may take a peek into some of the things that I would still like to share with you from twenty seven through thirty two.
By the way, Betty said for me to tell everyone hello and thanks for the wonderful treats that I return with every year. And there are many. There is a story in that and I will try and remember to include it in the writing.
Here we go! Climb on in, buckle up and hang on! This fellow writing this for me is going to have very busy fingers this year. I have watched as he does his work and there always seems to be a smile on his face. What do you suppose that means?
