About the Author

Bobbie Hinman has a B.S degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Children's Literature. The combination of her teaching experience and time spent with her ten grandchildren has made her feel right at home in the world of children's books. Her first four books have received a combined total of twenty-four children's book awards.

Bobbie has been a speaker and presenter at numerous schools, libraries and bookstores, as well as major book festivals all across the United States and in Canada. Her articles have appeared in the Independent Book Publishers Association magazine and in many blogs and interviews. Her bookstore events have been featured in the Barnes & Noble Inside newsletter.

Bobbie loves to create stories that reveal some of the less practical and more magical explanations of life's little mysteries. After all, who better to blame it on than a fairy? Her rhymng books each come with an audio CD that features the story narration and an original song.

Bobbie and her husband reside in Florida with their two kitties.

Kristi Bridgeman is known for her sepia tones and glowing lines; her work has been said to resemble that of Victorian children's book illustrators. She has received numerous awards for her illustrations and has been honored as one of 150 Top Women Artists through the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her original watercolor illustrations are truly captivating. Kristi resides in Victoria, B.C., Canada.
