C. Mitchell (Mitch) Carnell, Jr. served as executive director of Charleston Speech and Hearing Center, Inc. for over twenty years. He was educated at Mars Hill College (A.A.), Furman University (B.A.), The University of Alabama (M.A.) and Louisiana State University (Ph.D.). Dr. Carnell teaches courses for Webster University in Charleston, SC. He is an active member of First Baptist Church, Charleston, where he serves as a Sunday school teacher, deacon, and trustee.
