This edition includes access to an online version of the book.
Purpose: This much-needed tome is well overdue, as it combines the two leading books in the field of spinal cord injury medicine into one comprehensive volume. This edition consists of seven section and 60 chapters with hundreds of figures and tables.
Audience: This book provides practitioners, researchers, and students with a clinically focused reference on spinal cord medicine. Both the authors and contributors are leaders in their respected fields of medicine.
Features: This third edition merges the most important aspects of the previous books, including both traumatic and nontraumatic disorders affecting the spinal cord. It covers the entire continuum of spinal cord injury care from the acute injury to medical management that occurs in a rehabilitation hospital to advances in spinal cord research.
