He has worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the area of infectious disease and has worked on public health projects Worldwide. Additionally, he is a fellow of the American College of Epidemiology. Dr. Banerjee has conducted award winning research in the areas of Social Determinants of Health and was one of the few to be selected to conduct grant funded research. He has conducted various geospatial analyses and presented on Artificial Intelligence topics. He has over one hundred publications and over thirty thousand research citations.
