About the Author

Irvin Glenn Davis Jr. was born August 15, 1989 in Baytown, Texas. He was raised back and forth between China, Texas and Port Barre, Louisiana, but from an early age had a life on the road. At the age of four he as involved in marshall arts and competed in tournaments around the counrty until the age of twelve. He as always a straight A student, but a broken home would threaten everything that he knew and he soon turned to crime at the age of 13. with a long, dark road ahead of him and a fe run ins ith the police later he moved to Houston, Texas at the age of 17 to become an Automotie Technician. He had left his past behind and had plans to become a mechanical engineer after graduating from Trade School, but his life had took a turn for the worst. with orginal plans to moe to Shrevport, Louisiana to work at a Chevrolet dealership, his grandmother had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since she was the main person who raised him he couldn't find it in his heart to move and stayed by her side until she as healed. while back in his home town he as forced to face the demons o his past until ne of his cousins saw his potiential in writing. At first Irvin had only saw this as a hobby and only wrote to relieve stress, but soon took to the idea of doing it professionally. along his quest he beriended many well known authors who coached him on the was of the business. once he completed his story he enlisted the help of editor/riting coach Cherry-Ann Carew, who gave him many suggestions on his writing style and content. on January 3, 2011 Irvin released his first novel titled Street Religion that potrays some of his personal experiences as well as fictional thoughts for dramatic effect. he has plains to rite seeral more books including follow-ps to the Street Religion series entitled Omerta and Liberado. His main goal is to become th director of sreenplays and get his degree as a mechanical engineer.
