Overview

It wasn't the armored car heist that tore three childhood friends apart...it was the three brutal murders that followed. Robert Louis Stevenson said it best; "In each of us, two natures are at war – the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer. But in our own hands lies the power to choose." That power resonated fiercely on the south shore of Long Island in the late 1980's. #Strongisland has been called a gritty, knuckle dragging crime thriller with lot's of heart. It's a coming of age story about three childhood friends trying to navigate their way through life and the mafia infested streets of New York City. It was a time when greed was king and choosing between right and wrong wasn't always easy. Lines became blurred, loyalties were questioned and the truth was easily decided with a bullet. This is a story of love, betrayal, sacrifice and ultimate loyalty. #Strongisland will tug at heartstrings you didn't know existed.
