Overview

Lives can be cut shockingly short, regardless of age and gender, at any given time, with grieving families and friends left behind. "Sudden Departure Syndrome has become an epidemic in all nations today, whether from divorce and abandonment or death.

This is the first "world publication" to heal the pain of Sudden Departures. Finally a cure as important as aspirin in the 1920's for the modern pains that face us. We all are included in this book through some one we know and hug. RUN to the drug store and get SUDDEN DEPARTURE...said Berny Dohrmann, Chairman www.ceospace.net
The September Eleven impact started the thinking about sharing this information; a devastating health diagnosis gave birth to the book.; and events like Air France Flight 447 over the coast of Brazil, the sudden departure of Michael Jackson; the many who disappeared during the earthquake in Haiti; showed that the sudden departure of our loved ones can cause unnecessary drama for those left behind and faced with picking up the pieces, about which there is usually not a clue. This book was created to help us carry on with our lives when loved ones suddenly depart, or in the event that we depart suddenly. It represents a road map of their or our lives. It also helps those left behind to cope more effectively with any grief or depression that might have arisen. "The booklet on Sudden Departure Syndrome ( SDS ) is an essential aid to all UN personnel, who may be assigned to situations and locations in many parts of the world at short notice, where medical, legal and financial conditions may be deficient and international communications difficult to access. NT, NY In the book, testimonials are given by those who experienced the sudden departure of loved ones and who are now organizing and living their lives moment by moment, ., with affirmations for living life fully.

Losing anything can be painful. But, after a significant loss of a family member, friend, colleague, even finances as has happened to many during the economic collapse of many portfolios and investment, you may experience all kinds of difficult and surprising emotions, such as shock, anger, and guilt. Sometimes it may feel like the sadness will never let up. While these feelings can be frightening and overwhelming, they are normal reactions to loss.

“I had just seen my friend the day before and we had a great discussion going over old times. He was just settling down into retirement and was planning a trip to his country in three months. Imagine my surprise to learn the following day that he had died of a heart attack. And the drama was that he lived alone in Canada, his wife was in California and his daughter in New York…and no one knew where he kept anything….” GM, Toronto, Canada

About the Author

I can attest to the importance of this book in our lives. After a devastating diagnosis in 2000, and with my family on two other continents, Asia and Africa, I decided that I had to arrange my affairs since there was no one close who would be able to step in should anything happen to me. I compiled the information no one else would know into a booklet. I began updating and sharing the information with my friends, who began asking for copies of the booklet for their own use. Then came 911 and this book as a consequence. Hope it can put your mind to rest and help you enjoy each moment, free from worry and full of joy.

Having spent more than 3 decades in the United Nations, living and working in different parts of the world, with constant travel and exposure to other and different climes, I have come to the realization that a document like this book should have been among those important enough to keep up to date for my relatives and friends. I would like to suggest that colleagues involved in international and multinational work should really consider obtaining a copy of this book, keep one copy with them, one in their safe deposit box, another two with trusted family members or friends. This would really help those left behind with relevant knowledge of important papers, etc., and help the person to enjoy life and breath easy knowing that all is in order.
Get the book, fill in the information, keep and share, and live fully.
