Overview

Sunny Beam, a seemingly ordinary girl, discovers quite by accident that she possesses an extraordinary gift from God. This gift uproots her from all with which she is familiar when she is compelled to use it. After losing her job and any other prospect of a new job in her field of what she knows how to do she finds herself thrust into the spotlight where it is all about her with a chance of fame and fortune, the last place she cares to be. Faced with a decision of two distinctively different paths in life she anguishes over her choices, enticed by the dark stranger who just happens to appear at the perfect time right on her doorstep. Her parents think she should stay home and embrace her opportunities. Her heart tells her otherwise.

Sunny's very good friends take her on a sabbatical where she can relax and think about the direction of her life. A vivid dream she has gives her some insight and the dream has more meaning than she ever fathoms.

Will Sunny go the way of fame and fortune, using her gift to minister to the masses in her homeland? Will she follow the dark stranger to the other side of the world to use her gift in a place and culture unknown to her? Sunny finds herself falling for the dark stranger who seems to be on a path to becoming a monk, leaving her for a life of celibacy. She anguishes over these new feelings as she tries to face life and be happy without him in it. The road she chooses takes her on an amazing journey that only God can unfold as she steps out in faith on the path she believes meant for her.

About the Author

Lori Ann Ramsey loves to spin stories, as she has all her life. Her earliest memories are of playing by herself, playing out stories she made up in her mind at the tender young age of 3. As she grew older her dream was to become an author, specifically a novelist. 20 years ago she took the Famous Writer's Course in fiction writing, then wrote her first novel. After that life happened, she started a family, pursued other avenues for her career (as a website designer and coach), then she decided her passion still lies in being a novelist. 20 years after writing her first novel she wrote several more and has decided to share them with the rest of the world. She has written a dozen non-fiction books under "Lori Ramsey" and finally began to publish the novels starting with the first published novel - Sunny Beam.
