Overview

Samantha "Sam" Bernice Solomon, known most formal and prominently by her stage and business name of Addison Julie Englebrecht or "Addy", is an African
Spotted hyena, a and a spoken word rapper, originally from the Cherry Hill area of Baltimore, Maryland. Growing up in her youth, she was raised by a single mother for a good majority of her youngest years, as her father Darryl passed away when she was around aged four, from ketoacidosis complications of Hyaenidae diabetes. Though she didn't really have the best relationship with her mother later on in young adulthood, and suffers from diagnosis of depression and PTSD from both school and family related trauma, she began to use poetry as sort of a theraputic way of emotional healing and outlet and now has made it passionately into her full time career up to this day. She is now a mother of a six month old named Allison Zoey Gillespie and has a new one on the way, a son, due in March of 2021.
