Overview

‘Tall Stories’ is the result of a writing group that came together to share story telling within the same fictional environment. The group was set up to allow its members to tell stories that intertwine; sharing and developing their characters and locations every time a story is told.

In this first anthology of short fiction you will find seven stories about the inhabitants of a residential tower block. Written by Chris Raven, Peter John, Connie Dalhart and Adam Bigden, these stories cover a wide range of genres and styles and will take you on a journey where you will see the same characters through different eyes, each story adding a further layer to life to Musevary Towers.

About the Author

Chris Raven was born in South London some 50 or so years ago, maybe a little more. He originally started out in Local and Community Theatre in the 1980s, but became side-tracked by health and social care, where he has made his living for the past 30 years or so. More recently he has found his way back to the creative arts and enjoys writing in several forms and genres, including poetry, short storytelling and playwriting.

He also performs and has contributed illustrations to other author's works. He has edited books for The Indie Collaboration and he joint coordinated the 'Tall Stories' shared writing project.

Peter John was born in Bromley Kent, England in 1973. He gained an interest in creative writing at the age of 14 and was published during the 1990's in several poetry anthologies. Happily Married to Jo since 1996 and currently living in Sidcup Kent, not so far from the tree.

Peter John is also a founding member of The Indie Collaboration. An organisation dedicated to showcasing the best of indie authors in bite size pieces for free.

Adam Bigden is a freelance writer who seeks to bring thoughtful stories to the world. He is currently writing variously themed material with The Indie Collaboration. More of Adam's stories can also be found here on Smashwords:

Connie Dalhart is a single mother of two wonderful daughters. She has come to writing relatively recently and was encouraged, in no small part by her participation in the Tall Stories writing project. She is particularly interested in poetry and comedy and loves to combine the two whenever she can.
