Overview

Tao Te Ching representa para o Taoísmo a base de toda a sabedoria.

A palavra Taoísmo é formada por dois ideogramas chineses: Dào (que significa “caminho”) e Jiào (que significa “ensinamento”), correspondendo ao ensinamento que vem da tradição.
A leitura do Tao Te Ching implica num desafio para o ser humano: “esvaziar-se de toda intenção baseada em preconceitos e tornar-se bondoso e natural, com o a água que flui no vale”.
Escrito pelo sábio Lao Tsé, que segundo o cânon taoísta nasceu na era de Wu Tin, entre 1408 e 1324 a.C., Tao Te Ching, “o Livro do Caminho e da Virtude”, é uma das três obras que servem de base à Escola Taoísta. com o uma imensa e frutífera árvore, este precioso audiolivro que você tem às mãos representa o tronco, a estrutura central do Taoísmo (a raiz corresponde à obra I Ching e a flor ao Nan Hua Ching).
