Gabrielle W Bridges, professionally called Brie, has always been a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, expressing herself through dance, music, culinary, and visual arts. Now, as a homeschooling mom and entrepreneur, she is assisting Cassidy in building her lifestyle brand, Thank You, It’s An Afro. Brie is thankful for the wisdom gained through every part of her journey and, thus, lives and parents intentionally from biblical principles. To this end, Brie co-authored her first published book, Thank You, It’s An Afro, with her daughter Cassidy Brianna. The collaboration with AfroUnicorn celebrates self-love for natural hair and who you were created to be.
Cassidy Bridges, affectionately known as Cassidy Brianna is a six-year-old Model, Actor, Author, and Social Media influencer. Cassidy started her career at the age of two working with some amazing companies online. At the age of 4 she quickly gained notoriety after an Instagram video went viral while wearing an Afro Unicorn tee for telling a stranger, thank you for how much she loved Cassidy’s Afro hair. The video gained millions of likes and shares throughout the internet, even being shared by major celebrities, brands, and publications such as Viola Davis, D.L.Hughley, Oprah Daily, BET, The Shade Room, and many more. Cassidy's signature catchphrase of "Thank you, It's an Afro" made her a household symbol of Black pride and beauty among people of color and the natural hair community around the globe.
April Showers is the founder and CEO of Afro Unicorn, a brand designed to remind women and children of color how unique, divine and magical they truly are. Multiple business owner and single mother of two, April started a movement of like-minded Black Unicorns through apparel and accessories in May 2019. In May 2022, she launched in Walmart as the first Black woman & first Black licensed brand in Party Supplies for a major retailer. The Afro Unicorn brand is now featured in stores nationwide with children's apparel, drink-ware, toys, and holiday merch. April's passion is to teach others how to develop their brands—with a goal to help everyone win.
