Overview

At times, I've gotten angry at God for the pain and suffering I was going through, and I just could not understand what possible good there could be to it. I know only good things are from God, and suffering is partly due to the fact that we live in an imperfect world subject to human mistakes, bad judgement, and just life events in general. But I somehow knew there had to be a purpose to pain, sorrow, sickness, and loss. And, although God does not cause our suffering, He does utilize it for many purposes.

After suffering the most critical loss of my life, I hit my lowest ebb...so low I had nowhere else to look but up. With all avenues of comfort seemingly cut off and nowhere to turn for help and understanding, I looked toward God and His Word as my only source of consolation. This is my story of a journey to find answers as to why we suffer and how God uses all things for good...even suffering. Also, it is a story of enlightenment through discovering the purpose of trials and the resulting gift of God's Grace and comfort achieved by the perfecting of faith. My hope is, if you are reading this during a time of grief and suffering, God will bless you with His comfort as you read forward!
