This book is being rereleased in 2013 and I received an advance copy from NetGalley for review. This book explains the basics of spiritual warfare and also serves as a practical guide. There are prayers at the end of the chapters designed to lead a person in prayer - not to be some kind of secret formula. The book is theologically conservative and cites well-known and respected leaders in the Christian faith (for example, Warren Weirsbe). Overall, I think this is a great guide for Christians to turn to when they need a fast and practical introduction to spiritual warfare. I recommend it alongside Dr. Ed Murphy's The Handbook for Spiritual Warfare. The world isn't what it seems on the surface and almost no one realizes it. This books helps remove the veil in a Biblical way. 4/5 stars.
