About the Author

Prentice is a fourth generation New Mexican and mother to one year old twins. Becoming a parent was the motivating factor for her to create her first book. Prentice wants to share her love for art, poetry, and nature with her children as they grow. She hopes this will inspire them to learn about things they find interesting and to discover creative outlets of their own. Publishing her first book is an attempt to share an opportunity to bond over curiosity and art with other families.
