The Answer to Everything: Earth Wisdom & Beauty
As part of the Healing Earth Projects course at the Scandinavian Center for Shamanic Studies (SCSS), taught by Jonathan Horwitz and Zara Waldeback, Ash Miner has taken 102 photos and co-written 102 corresponding poems with inspiration from Nature. The project is aimed towards public awareness of animism, the soul in everything, from rocks, to trees, to animals. By accepting animism as a reality, as many indigenous peoples do, the rights of Nature become incredibly important. Through her training in shamanic practices, Ash lends her literary training to bring the words from the photos to life for readers.
